Covid-19 Sucks
7/10/23 – My wife gets sick, assumed it’s a Flu. She self-isolates as much as possible.
7/12/23 – After I get home from work, she states “I can’t taste anything.” We swab her nose, Covid-19 test shows Positive. My son tests Negative.
7/13/23 – Wife goes to Urgent Care, confirmed Positive for Covid-19, given a prescription, continues self-isolating.
7/14/23 – Son goes to Urgent Care, confirmed Positive for Covid-19, begins self-isolating.
7/15/23 – After getting home from work, I start feeling weird in the head, like a cold is coming on. I test Positive for Covid-19 (very faint T line), go to Urgent Care, confirmed, given a prescription (Paxlovid), and self-isolate as much as possible.
7/16/23 – I advise Company On-call Manager, was told to call out. Tested Positive, strong T line.
7/24/23 – I tested Negative after 4 days of a strong T line, followed by 4 days of a faint T line.
7/25/23 – I tested Positive, very faint T line. Wife tested Negative.
7/26/23 – I tested Positive, can barely see a T line. Supposed to go to work tomorrow.
7/27/23 – I go to work, isolated from other techs. Swabbed my nose, came back Positive, can barely see a T line. Boss sent me home for another week, advising if I tested Negative, I can return with a doctor’s note.
7/28/23 – Tele-medicine with my PCD, who says I’m probably in a relapse. She was right.
7/29/23 – I wake up feeling worse than any of the first 13 days of Covid-19. No fever, just lots of congestion, fatigue, & headache. Swabbed nose, dark T line, definitely Positive.
7/30/23 – Swabbed nose, Positive with dark T line. Son went home. Took a long nap.
7/31/23 – Swabbed nose, Positive with dark T line. Wife tested Negative.
